Avisail Garcia leaves with an injury
/Dan Hayes provides an update and then immediately lists three things this update could have said that would have been worse:
----------------------------------------
Avisail Garcia left Wednesday's game with an injury after laying out for a catch in the sixth inning. He appeared to land with a lot of weight coming down on his left shoulder, and couldn't hold onto the ball in his glove as he rolled around in obvious pain. It looked bad. It might not be bad, but man, it looked the part.
White Sox trainer Herm Schneider attended to Garcia and examined him briefly before he exited the game. As Garcia jogged off, he was clutching his left arm to his side. Alejandro De Aza came in to play left field, pushing Dayan Viciedo over to right field to replace Garcia.
By the middle of the eighth inning, there had yet to be an update. By the middle of the eighth, Dayan Viciedo was still having a terrible game.
